I have been waiting for this one for a good while now. My international hardcore blog buddy Bikir has been doing a really cool music and culture blog for some time now called Halifax Collect and he happened to catch Hercules on tour this past winter in Winnipeg and scooped a copy of my zine. USPS Stamp Out Hunger food drive Saturday, May 8th

If you live in the USA, on Saturday, May 8th you can leave non-perishable food items by your mailbox to be collected by your mail carrier and dropped off at your local food bank. Food banks all over the local Omaha metro area (and I'm sure all over the country) have been having a hard time the last few years keeping stocks full, so every little bit helps. It doesn't get much easier to give back the community, so do it!

This Is Nebraska Not Anywhere Else reviewed in MRR #324 (May 2010)

My zine This Is Nebraska Not Anywhere Else was reviewed in the current issue of Maximum Rock N' Roll and I was happy to see that they gave it a pretty good review. I was really excited to see that the cover of my zine is pictured on the review page as well. This is the first time I've read a copy of MRR in a few years and it's good to see that the long running punk rag is doing quite well with TONS of columns along with plenty of interviews and reviews that has made it famous. The issue is also a tribute to long time MRR contributor Bruce Roehrs who passed away last month. Check it out!
